The Director of Parks and Recreation is hereby authorized, subject to approval of the Town Board by resolution, to promulgate and establish rules regulating or restricting the use of any Town park.
Upon the adoption of any rule regulating or restricting the use of any Town park, the Director of Parks and Recreation shall cause to be erected in the area or areas where such regulations or restrictions are imposed appropriate signs indicating such regulation or restriction, and thereupon any violation of any such regulation or restriction shall subject the violator to the penalties hereinafter provided.

Any violation of any regulation or restriction imposed or adopted under this article shall subject such violator to a penalty as set forth in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article III.

The Town Board may by resolution authorize such Town employees as it may determine to issue and serve in such manner as it may determine notices of violation of any such park restriction or regulation. Such notice may state that a charge of violation may be disposed of by a voluntary payment to the Town Clerk of such sum as the Town Board may by such resolution determine and that upon failure of the person so served to respond to such notice within such period of time as the Town Board may determine, the Town may commence action for the maximum penalty herein provided or otherwise cause such violator to be prosecuted according to law.
