§ 282-12 Prohibition of left turns.

The turning of vehicles is hereby prohibited as follows:

A. Vehicles proceeding north on Broadway, Route U.S. 9, at the northwest entrance to business property at the corner of Broadway, Route U.S. 9, and Main Street.

B. Vehicles exiting from the business property at the corner of Broadway, Route U.S. 9, and Main Street to Broadway, Route U.S. 9.

C. Vehicles exiting from the off-street meter zone known as "Warburton Avenue Parking Lot" on Warburton Avenue.

D. Vehicles proceeding westbound on Villard Avenue at Terrace Drive.

E. Vehicles proceeding westbound on Hillside Avenue at Farragut Avenue during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on school days.

F. Vehicles proceeding westbound and northbound on High Street at James Street, Hudson Street, and Warren Street between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. except on weekends and holidays.

§ 282-13 Prohibition of U-turns.

The turning of vehicles so as to proceed in the opposite direction is hereby prohibited at the following locations:

A. Warburton Avenue, between North Street and Washington Avenue.

B. At all intersections where traffic is controlled by traffic signals.

C. Main Street, between Warburton Avenue and Broadway, Route U.S. 9.

§ 282-14 Prohibition of right turns.

Right turns are hereby prohibited in the following locations:

A. Trucks proceeding north on Broadway, Route U.S. 9, at the corner of Broadway and Farragut Avenue.

§ 282-15 Prohibition of right turns on red light signal.

Right turns on red light signal are prohibited and no-turn-on-red signs shall be posted at the following intersections:

A. Southeast corner of Main Street at its intersection with Broadway.

B. Northeast corner of Broadway at its intersection with Farragut Avenue.

C. Broadway at its intersection with Chauncey Lane (Broadway bypass at the American Legion Monument location).

D. Northeast corner of Fraser Place at its intersection with Broadway.

E. Northeast corner of Edgars Lane at its intersection with Broadway.[1]

[1] Editor’s Note: Former Subsections F and G, which immediately followed and prohibited right turns on red from Washington Avenue on to Warburton Avenue, were repealed 12-4-2012 by L.L. No. 5-2012.
