It shall be unlawful for any person to engage
in ball playing or any act of amusement on the streets or sidewalks
of the village so as to endanger persons or property on said streets
or sidewalks or elsewhere.

No owner or occupant of property abutting on
a public street, grounds or place or immediately adjacent thereto
shall place or cause to be placed any barbed wire or similar device
on any fence, house, post or tree along the boundaries of any such
street, grounds or place or immediately adjacent thereto.

Every owner or occupant of any house or other
building, and every owner or person entitled to possession of any
vacant lot, and every person having charge of any church or other
public building in the village shall, during the winter season and
during the time the snow shall continue on the ground, keep the sidewalks
in front of such house, building or lot free from obstruction by snow
or ice, and shall also at all times keep such sidewalks in good and
safe repair. Snow or ice shall be removed within 24 hours after snow
has stopped falling.

No person shall coast with handsleds, bobs,
carts or other vehicles on wheels or runners upon any public sidewalk;
nor shall any person coast with handsleds, bobs, carts or other vehicles
on wheels or runners upon any public street or highway of the village,
except upon such streets or highways as may be designated by the Board
of Trustees for such purpose. No person shall skateboard, roller skate
or roller blade on Main Street, New Main Street or Broadway.
No person shall obstruct any public highway,
sidewalk or public place within the village without a permit with
a time limit fixed therein in each case from the Village Clerk and
in compliance with such regulations affecting the same as he or she
may prescribe.
A. No person shall cast or throw or cause to be cast
or thrown in any of the highways or public places or in any of the
drains, ditches or watercourses any straw, shavings, wood, stones,
shells, tin cans, glass, broken crockery, ashes, ice, rubbish or filth
or cause any obstruction, nuisance or injury to any drain, ditch or
watercourse or divert or stop the flow thereof.
B. No person shall, without written permission of the
Village Clerk, remove or carry away or cause to be carried away any
stone, soil, sand, gravel, shade or ornamental tree, shrub or plant
from any highway or public place.

No person, association or corporation shall
erect or cause to be erected any shed or covering which projects over
the sidewalk within the village, except an awning which rolls up.

It shall be unlawful for any person, as owner,
driver, manager or conductor of any automobile, truck or other vehicle
or of any receptacle, to scatter, drop or spill or permit to be scattered,
dropped or spilled any dirt, sand, gravel, clay, loam, stone or building
rubbish or other organic refuse or other offensive matter therefrom
or permit the same to be blown off therefrom by the wind in or upon
any street, sidewalk, alley or other public place. This section shall
take effect as provided in § 20-2002 of the Village Law
of the State of New York on the first day of August 1935.
