This article shall be known as "An Ordinance Authorizing Outside Service
by the Emergency Relief Squad of the Holley Fire Department."
The provisions of this article shall apply to the regulation of vehicles
and life-saving equipment or apparatus maintained in connection with the Emergency
Relief Squad of the Holley Fire Department and to the authorization to the
Emergency Relief Squad of said Fire Department to extend aid in emergencies
to the townships outside of said Village, as herein limited.
The Emergency Relief Squad of the Fire Department of the Village of
Holley, as recently organized by and consisting of members of said Fire Department,
is hereby constituted as a unit or part of the Fire Department of the Village
of Holley, and is hereby authorized and permitted to go to the aid of those
townships outside of this Village, in the same manner and to the same extent
that other units of equipment or apparatus of the Fire Department are now
permitted to render aid, and the use of the vehicles and equipment of the
Emergency Relief Squad shall be governed by the rules of law and of the Holley
Fire Department as now govern fire calls and the use of fire apparatus and
equipment.
The extension of such aid outside of the Village of Holley, as permitted
by this article, shall not be deemed to create any additional liability on
the part of the Village of Holley.
