Editor's Note: This local law was adopted as Ch. 83, but was renumbered to fit into the organizational structure of the Code.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the Village Administrator/Clerk, the Deputy Village Clerk, the Village Treasurer, and the Deputy Village Treasurer need not be residents of the Village of Lake Success, but must be residents of either Nassau, Suffolk or Queens County.
A. 
The Village Administrator/Clerk and the Village Treasurer shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, for a term of two official years.
B. 
The Deputy Village Clerk and the Deputy Village Treasurer shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the Board of Trustees, for a term of one official year.
