Village of Lake Success, NY Article I Miscellaneous Fees

§ A111-1 Enumeration of fees.

A. Business licenses.

(1) Auctioneers (per day): $200; charitable organizations exempt.

(2) Itinerant vendors carrying merchandise:

(a) On foot (per year): $50.

(b) Using a vehicle (per year): $100.

(3) Public garages (per year): $100.

(4) Restaurants:

(a) Limited occupancy (per year): $250.

(b) Public restaurants (per year): $500.

(5) Plumbers (per year): $50.

(6) Electricians (per year): $50.

(7) Landscapers (two-year); $100; additional decals: $15 each.

B. Sign permits (annual fee):

(1) Initial application fee: $100.

(2) Nonilluminated signs (per square foot): $2.

(3) Illuminated signs (per square foot): $4.

(4) Minimum fee (new application): $150.

C. Street openings, curb cuts and driveways:

(1) Street openings and curb cuts:

(a) Processing and inspection: $350.

(b) Deposits and bonds.

[1] Deposit (per square yard): $200 refunded after repairs are approved; minimum deposit: $1,000; or

[2] Bond may be submitted in place (except public utilities which have bonds on file); minimum bond: $7,500.

(2) Driveways. (For new structures see Building Department fees, Article II of this chapter.)

(a) Residential: $250.

(b) Nonresidential: $500.

D. Moving buildings on Village streets, based on size:

(1) Per 1,000 cubic feet: $50.

(2) Minimum: $5,000.

E. Grading and filling.

(1) Fee for processing and inspection: $2,000.

(2) Deposit, refunded after completion: $10,000.

F. Board of Appeals.

(1) Residential:

(a) Fences, sheds, minor accessory structures: $350.

(b) All others: $750.

(2) Non-Residential: $2,500.

(3) All of the above plus all associated costs inc: legal; planning; engineering; traffic; environmental; or other consulting fees; advertising of legal notice; and stenographic minutes of meetings.

G. Blueprint duplications: cost of blueprints.

H. Dishonored check fee: $20.

I. Elevators.
