The Town Board of the Town of Lewisboro finds that, because of the use of the various Town-owned and Town-controlled lands for governmental purposes and for both active and passive recreation, hunting and trapping on said lands is dangerous to others using said lands and therefore detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the Town of Lewisboro.

TRAPPING
Taking, killing and capturing wildlife with traps, deadfalls and other devices commonly used to take wildlife.
