A. 
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway or public parking lot within this Town during a snowstorm, flood, fire or other public emergency which affects that portion of the public highway or parking lot upon which said vehicle is parked or abandoned, said vehicle may be removed by or under the direction of the Highway Superintendent or police.
B. 
When any vehicle is found unattended on any highway or public parking lot within the Town where said vehicle constitutes an obstruction to traffic, said vehicle may be removed by or under the direction of the Highway Superintendent or police.
C. 
Any vehicle parked in violation of § 212-19 may be removed by or under the direction of the Highway Superintendent or police.

After removal of any vehicle as provided in this article, the Highway Superintendent or police may store or cause such vehicle to be stored in a suitable place at the expense of the owner. Such owner or person in charge of the vehicle may redeem the same upon payment to the person with whom stored of the amount of all expenses actually and necessarily incurred in effecting such removal and storage, such storage charges as established from time to time by resolution of the Town Board.
It shall be the duty of the Highway Superintendent or police to ascertain to the extent possible the owner of the vehicle or the person having the same in charge and to notify him of the removal and disposition of such vehicle and of the amount which will be required to redeem same. Said Highway Superintendent or police shall also without delay report the removal and disposition of any vehicle removed as provided in this article to the Town Clerk.
No boats or watercraft of any type shall be launched into the adjoining lakes, ponds, creeks, channels or other bodies of water from the streets and highways or portions thereof hereinafter designated:
A. 
Along Oscaleta Road from a point 300 feet southerly on Oscaleta Road from the center line of the channel between Lake Waccabuc and Lake Oscaleta to a point 300 feet northerly on Oscaleta Road from the center line of said channel.

A. 
Parking within the Spring Street Parking Lot, located on Spring Street and adjacent to the Lewisboro Police Department and hereinafter referred to as "the lot," shall be regulated as follows:
(1) 
Except as otherwise provided herein, permit parking in the lot is limited to the area along the northern boundary line of the lot directly adjacent to the South Salem Cemetery and to the northern half of the two middle rows of the lot. This area is to be designated as "Permit Parking Only."
(2) 
Permits shall be granted by the Town Clerk of the Town of Lewisboro on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to Town residents. If any spaces remain after Town residents have been issued permits, then permits may be offered to nonresidents. Rates for the parking spaces shall be established from time to time by resolution of the Town Board. Permits shall be nonrenewable and shall be valid for a period of one year.
(3) 
Parking along the western boundary line of the lot adjacent to the Police Department is reserved at all times for Town of Lewisboro Police Department use only.
(4) 
Parking along the southern boundary line of the lot directly adjacent to Spring Street, and in the southern half of the two middle rows of the lot is limited to three hours only.
(5) 
The northeastern corner of the lot is reserved for official Town use only and consists of two spaces.
B. 
The parking regulations set forth in Subsection A(1), (2), (4) and (5) are applicable Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.
C. 
There shall be no overnight parking in the lot, with the exception of official Town use.
D. 
The parking restrictions in this section shall take effect 10 days from the date of adoption of this section.

Parking within the parking lots of the Town parks and preserves as referred to herein shall be regulated as follows:
A. 
The parking restrictions and regulations set forth herein shall apply to the following parking lots (hereinafter referred to as the "lots"):
(1) 
Vista Park Parking Lot located at 477 Smith Ridge Road (Route 123);
(2) 
Fox Valley Park Parking Lot located at 4 Indian Hill Road;
(3) 
Onatru Park and Preserve Parking Lot located at 99 Elmwood Road;
(4) 
Town Park Parking Lot located at 1079 Old Post Road (Route 35);
(5) 
Brownell Preserve Parking Lot located on Harriet Lane;
(6) 
Old Field Preserve Parking Lot located on Mead Street; and
(7) 
Leon Levy Preserve Parking Lot located on Smith Ridge Road (Route 123).
B. 
Parking in the lots is reserved at all times for persons using the park or preserve during the time their vehicle is parked in the lot, or as otherwise permitted pursuant to this section.
C. 
Parking in the lots is limited to the hours the park or preserve is open to the public. There shall be no overnight parking in the lot, with the exception of official Town use.
D. 
Permits shall be granted by the Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Lewisboro on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to Town residents. If any spaces remain after Town residents have been issued permits, then permits may be offered to nonresidents. Rates for the parking spaces shall be established from time to time by resolution of the Town Board. Permits shall be nonrenewable and shall be valid for a period of one year.
E. 
Persons who have a parking permit issued pursuant to this section shall not be limited to parking their vehicle during the time they are using the park or preserve. However, such persons are limited to the hours for parking as set forth in this section.
F. 
No permit shall be required for a Town resident to park their vehicle in the lots during the time such resident is utilizing the park or preserve.
G. 
No unauthorized commercial vehicles over 8,000 pounds shall be permitted to utilize the lots for staging, parking or standing or for any other commercial use. This provision shall not prohibit the parking of a commercial vehicle in the lots if the driver of the vehicle is using the park or preserve.

A. 
The Town Board may, by resolution, due to unusual circumstances or emergency, temporarily establish one-way traffic on designated streets, temporarily close designated streets and temporarily alter the normal regulation of traffic.
B. 
The Town Board may, by resolution, temporarily suspend any of the provisions of Article III, Parking, Standing and Stopping, due to unusual circumstances or emergency.
