Town of Mamakating, NY Chapter 111 Games of Chance

§ 111-1 Authorization for conduct of games.

Games of chance may be conducted by authorized organizations, upon obtaining a license therefor, within the territorial limits of the Town of Mamakating, subject to the definitions, limits, restrictions and regulations imposed by Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law and the rules and regulations of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board applicable thereto and as said Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law and said rules and regulations may be from time to time modified and amended.

§ 111-2 Definitions.

As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

CLERK

The Clerk of the Town of Mamakating.

MUNICIPALITY

The Town of Mamakating.

OFFICER

The Chief Constable of the Town of Mamakating or the Chief of Police of the Town of Mamakating, upon creation of that post.

§ 111-3 Games on Sunday.

The conduct of games of chance on Sunday is authorized as regulated by Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law.
