Pursuant to § 3-304 of the Village Law, boards of trustees have the power to change the number of its members.
Pursuant to § 3-304(b) of the Village Law, the membership of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Manlius, New York, is hereby decreased from six Trustees to four Trustees pursuant to the schedule set forth in § A103-2.1.
A. 
At the general Village election to be held on the third Tuesday in March 2015, one Trustee shall be elected to a two-year term, unless there shall be a vacancy to fill an unexpired term, in which case a second Trustee shall be elected to fill the unexpired term.
B. 
At the general Village election to be held on the third Tuesday in March 2017, there shall be elected four trustees for the following terms:
(1) 
Two Trustees, each for a term of four years, such positions to be awarded to the two candidates with the highest number of votes.
(2) 
Two Trustees, each for a term of two years, such positions to be awarded to the two candidates with the next highest number of votes.
C. 
At the annual general election for the Village of Manlius in the year 2019, and at every biannual general election thereafter, there shall be elected two Trustees, each for a term of four years.
