[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Massapequa Park 5-22-1967 as Art. VIII of Ch. 12 of the 1967 Code. Section 234-2 amended and § 234-3 added at time of adoption of Code; see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I. Other amendments noted where applicable.]

A pawnbroker's license shall not be granted unless the Board of Trustees is satisfied that the person applying therefor is a proper person to conduct such business.
The license fee for conducting a pawnbroker's or similar business shall be as provided in Chapter A350, Fees, per annum, payable upon issuance of the license.[2]
