It shall be unlawful for any person, partnership, corporation or other entity to sell merchandise to the public from the rear of trucks, from tables or in any other manner on Village property unless the Board of Trustees has given its prior written permission to authorize said sale.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
MERCHANDISE MART
Includes but shall not be limited to any retail selling of goods, wares or merchandise when such merchandise is segregated by type and such different types are sold by several different persons acting independently, or where miscellaneous merchandise is sold by each of several persons who assemble together at one place or general area for the purpose of selling their respective goods to the public.
