A. 
Notice of violation. Whenever a person violates any rules and regulations for plumbing and drainage or deviates from the approved plan or specification for plumbing and drainage filed with the Building Inspector, the Building Inspector shall first serve notice of violation thereof upon the master plumber doing the work.
B. 
Service of notice. Such notice may be served personally or by mail, and if by mail, it may be addressed to such master plumber at the address registered by him with the Building Inspector of the village or Village Administrator.
C. 
Removal of violations. Unless the violation is removed within three days after the day of serving or mailing of such notice, exclusive of the day of serving or mailing, the Building Inspector shall have authority to take such action as provided in this code.

Violation of any section of this chapter shall be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1, Article I, of the Code of the Village of Massapequa Park. If such person is a master plumber, he shall, in addition, forfeit any certificate of competency or registration which he may hold under the provisions of this code.
No oversight or dereliction of duty on the part of the Building Inspector shall legalize the erecting, construction, alteration, removal or use or occupancy of a building or structure that does not conform to the provisions of the Plumbing Code.
