The Police Department of the City of Middletown, New York, shall provide
escort service to any business or industry located in the City of Middletown,
at the request of said business or industry, for the transportation of money
for dropoff to financial institutions located in the City of Middletown, upon
the terms and conditions set forth below.

The service shall be provided as scheduled and directed by the Chief
of Police, who has the sole discretion to determine whether or not the police
escort service will be available for the particular time and destination requested.

The fee to be paid to the City of Middletown for each such escort service
shall be the sum of $25 for each escort provided after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays
and $75 for each escort provided during regular business hours (8:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m.) or during weekends. All fees for such escort service shall be
paid to the Treasurer of the City of Middletown, New York.
The fee above stated for such escort service shall not apply to charitable
or religious associations or corporations, for which such escort service there
shall be no charge made.
