Town of Salina, NY Chapter 4 Appearance Tickets

§ 4-1 Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to authorize public servants of the Town of Salina to issue and serve appearance tickets in connection with the violation of any provision of the Code, including any state statute or code incorporated herein by reference.

§ 4-2 Authorized public servants.

The following public servants of the Town of Salina are hereby authorized to issue and serve appearance tickets with respect to the violation of any provision of this Code, including any state statute or code incorporated by reference that they are authorized or required to enforce:

A. Commissioner of Planning and Development.

B. Code Enforcement Officers.

C. Deputy Code Enforcement Officers.

D. Fire Marshal.

E. Dog Control Officer.

§ 4-3 Method of service.

An appearance ticket shall be served by any means authorized by law.
