[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Saugerties 11-19-1979 by L.L. No. 3-1979. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A. 
The Village of Saugerties shall contain, on and after the effective date of this chapter, in addition to the territory presently contained within its boundaries, the following described territory. Beginning at an iron pipe on the westerly side of the Canoe Hill Road, said pipe being the southeasterly corner of lands of Thomas Harris, and the northeasterly corner of the herein described premises and running:
(1) 
Thence from said point of beginning along the westerly side of the Canoe Hill Road south 7° 50' 28” west, 114.15 feet to a point;
(2) 
Thence along the westerly line of lands conveyed to the Village of Saugerties by deeds recorded in the Ulster County Clerk's office in Liber 307 at Page 292 and Liber 330 at Page 158, the following courses and distances: south 88° 17' 30” west, 80.99 feet to a point;
(3) 
Thence south 50° 17' 30” west, 79.20 feet to a point;
(4) 
Thence south 29° 17' 30” west, 169.62 feet to a point;
(5) 
Thence south 44° 17' 30” west, 117.48 feet to a point;
(6) 
Thence south 31° 47' 30” west, 125.40 feet to the southwesterly corner of lands of the Village of Saugerties;
(7) 
Thence along the westerly line of lands now or formerly belonging to Girland and Pauline Bosco the following courses and distances: south 15° 17' 30” west, 52.80 feet to a point;
(8) 
Thence south 13° 47' 30” west, 72.60 feet to a point;
(9) 
Thence south 28° 47' 30” west, 114.84 feet to a point;
(10) 
Thence south 24° 17' 30” west, 87.78 feet to a point;
(11) 
Thence south 31° 47' 30” west, 10.98 feet to a point on the Corporation line between the Village of Saugerties on the south and the Town of Saugerties on the north;
(12) 
Thence along said Corporation line and passing over a stone marker on said line north 47° 54' 23” west, 848.82 feet to a point on the southeasterly line of lands of the Penn Central Railroad West Shore Division;
(13) 
Thence along the southeasterly line of said railroad the following courses and distances: north 36° 40' 30” east, 141.85 feet to a point;
(14) 
Thence north 34° 57' 30” east, 493.40 feet to a fence post;
(15) 
Thence along the southerly line of lands of now or formerly belonging to William R. and Ella Soura and a wire fence south 70° 38' 35” east, 525.20 feet to a fence corner;
(16) 
Thence along a wire fence in the southerly line of lands of Thomas Harris and passing over a recovered pipe on a line south 71° 08' 00” east; 300.00 feet to a recovered iron pipe on the westerly side of the Canoe Hill Road at the place of beginning. Containing 14.421 acres.
B. 
All bearings are referred to the magnetic meridian as of May 1979.
The territory described in § A217-1 of this chapter is hereby annexed to the Village of Saugerties pursuant to the provisions of § 714 of the General Municipal Law.
The territory described in § A217-1 of this chapter is hereby annexed to the Village of Saugerties by this chapter shall be included in the 14th Election District of the Village and Town of Saugerties.
The annexation of the above territory described in § A217-1 of this chapter shall become effective on the first day of December, 1979.
