Fire hydrant proximity is considered highly important in combatting
fires within the Village. All new construction shall be predicated on availability
of sufficient hydrant service or other equivalent water source for fire-fighting
effectiveness.
It shall be the responsibility of the applicant, developer or redeveloper
to determine, at the level of the proposed structure, the flow and pressure
of existing and proposed hydrants. This information shall be presented to
the Board of Trustees for review.
