With the exception of conventional two-wheeled
bicycles, horses and horse-drawn vehicles, all nonmotorized forms
of transport are prohibited from all Village roads. Such prohibited
vehicles include those devices commonly known as skateboards, scooters,
carts, "soapbox" racers, sleds, sleighs, skates and skis and any other
device that, in the opinion of the Chief of Police, Mayor or Board
of Trustees, may interfere with normal road traffic. Exceptions may
be authorized on a per-case basis by the Chief of Police, Mayor or
Board of Trustees.
A.ย
No tracked vehicles, tractor-trailers, dumptrucks,
buses, earthmoving equipment or vehicles over 10 tons gross vehicle
weight (GVW) or more than 12 feet in overall height or eight feet
in overall width or 30 feet in length shall be permitted on any Village
road unless previously authorized by the Chief of Police, Mayor, Board
of Trustees or Public Works Superintendent.
B.ย
Vehicles of more than two axles or with more than
four road wheels and having an authorized purpose to operate within
the Village may do so only on Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m. Friday hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from Memorial
Day to Labor Day. No such vehicles shall be operated within the Village
on any other day or hour or any New York State recognized holiday.
A maximum of up to eight deliveries per authorized day shall be permitted
to any one property, work site, or building project.[1]

The Village, through its Mayor, Police Chief and Public
Works Superintendent, reserves the right to deny road access or to
halt any bus, truck or heavy equipment operating on its roads or upon
private property when deemed detrimental to the general health, safety,
welfare or tranquility of the community.[2]
D.ย
School buses, vehicles owned and operated by the Village,
utility-company vehicles making emergency repairs and authorized garbage
collection vehicles operating under a permit issued by the Board of
Trustees[3] are exempt from these restrictions. Other exceptions may
be granted by the Mayor, Police Chief or Board of Trustees upon prior
written request by the vehicle owner or operator.
The maximum speed at which vehicles may proceed on or along any streets or highways within the Village is hereby established at 30 miles per hour, except that the speed limit for vehicles proceeding on or along those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (ยงย 94-32) shall be as indicated in said schedule.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III (ยงย 94-33), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
No person shall make a U-turn on any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IV (ยงย 94-34), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a turn of the kind designated (left, right, all) at any of the locations described in Schedule V (ยงย 94-35), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall make a right turn when facing a steady red signal (stop indication) at any of the locations described in Schedule VI (ยงย 94-36), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
The intersections described in Schedule VII (ยงย 94-37), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The intersections described in Schedule VIII (ยงย 94-38), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as yield intersections. Yield signs shall be installed as provided therein.
