By authority of the resolution of the Town Board,
the Zoning Laws[1] of the Town of Walworth and § 10 of the Municipal
Home Rule Law, the Planning Board of the Town of Walworth has the
power and authority to approve plats showing lots or sites, with or
without streets or highways, to approve preliminary plats and to approve
site plans within the Town of Walworth.
The purpose of establishing this land development
chapter applicable to the Town of Walworth is to ensure that uses
of land affected by this chapter will culminate in development that
will protect the health, safety and general welfare of the residents
of the Town of Walworth and foster the harmonious development of the
community consistent with its Comprehensive Plan.
