Pursuant to a petition submitted to the Village
Board of the Village of Geneseo, dated July 14, 1989; a public hearing
held on September 7, 1989, in consideration of said petition; approval
of annexation by the Village Board of the Village of Geneseo on November
6, 1989; and adoption of the resolution and order by the Village Board
of the Village of Geneseo on November 6, 1989, the following property
is hereby annexed into the Village of Geneseo:
All that tract or parcel of land situate in
and being part of Lot 106 and Lot 107 of Saxton's survey in the Town
of Geneseo, County of Livingston, State of New York, and being more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at a concrete monument
on the southerly right-of-way line of Lima Road (66-foot wide right-of-way)
at the division line between the Village of Geneseo on the west and
the Town of Geneseo on the east, said point being 133.94 feet southwesterly
along said right-of-way line from the easterly property line of lands
now or formerly of Gerald L. and Patricia Smith; thence, north 03°
37 54 east, along said division line, a distance of 86.30 feet to
a point on the northerly right-of-way line of Lima Road; thence north
53° 31 16 east, along the northerly right-of-way line of Lima
Road, a distance of 883.74 feet to an angle point in said right-of-way;
thence, north 53° 21 48 east, continuing along said right-of-way
line, a distance of 229.98 feet to a point, thence, south 03°
33 00 west, across lands of Premium Development Corporation, along
a line which is the extension of the division line between lands now
or formerly of Premium Development Corporation on the west and lands
now or formerly of Livingston County on the east, a distance of 3374.39
feet to a point; said point being at the northeasterly corner of lands
now or formerly of Grossman and also being on the northerly Village
corporation line; thence, north 86° 21 50 west, along said Village
corporation line and the northerly line of Grossman, a distance of
856.18 feet to a point on the division line between the Town of Geneseo
on the east and the Village of Geneseo on the west; thence, north
03° 37 54 east, along said division line, being the westerly line
of lands of Premium Development Corporation and continuing across
lands now or formerly of Peter J. and Phyllis A. Scorsone and lands
now or formerly of Gerald L. and Patricia Smith, a distance of 2,570
feet to the point of beginning, containing 59.114 acres of land more
or less, all as shown on a map prepared by Passero Associates, P.C.,
entitled "Map of Lands to be Annexed into the Village of Geneseo,"
Project No. 74250-4, Drawing No. 112, dated June 1989.
This local law shall take effect immediately.
