Borough of Netcong, NJ Article III Municipal Court Administrator

§ 13-5 Position established.

There is hereby established the position of Municipal Court Administrator for the Municipal Court of the Borough of Netcong.

§ 13-6 Appointment; term of office.

A. The Municipal Court Administrator shall be nominated and, with the advice and consent of the Borough Council, appointed by the Mayor.

B. The Municipal Court Administrator shall serve for a term of one year from the date of appointment and until a successor is appointed and qualified.

§ 13-7 Municipal Court Administrator; powers and duties.

The Municipal Court Administrator shall have, possess and exercise all of the powers, functions and duties which are or may be conferred by law and the applicable Rules of the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

§ 13-8 Compensation.

The Municipal Court Administrator shall be paid a salary as fixed and adopted by the Borough Council in the annual salary resolution within the guidelines established in the Borough's salary ordinance.

§ 13-9 Deputy Municipal Court Clerks: appointment; powers and duties.

A. Deputy Municipal Court Clerks may be nominated and, with the advice and consent of the Borough Council, appointed by the Mayor for one-year terms.

B. In the absence of the Municipal Court Administrator, the Deputy Municipal Court Clerk so appointed shall have all of the powers and duties of the Municipal Court Administrator.
