[Adopted 3-5-1974 as part of Ord. No. 1024 (Ch. 39, Art. II, of the 1984 Code)]
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-139, there is hereby established the office of Municipal Attorney, who shall be designated as the "Borough Attorney."
The Borough Attorney shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council.
The term of the Borough Attorney shall be one year from the date of such appointment and the advice and consent of the Borough Council.
The Borough Attorney shall perform such duties as are assigned from time to time by the Mayor or Council.

The Borough Attorney shall receive an annual salary as set by Annual Salary Ordinance.
