There is hereby established the office of Municipal
Auditor, who shall be designated as the "Borough Auditor."
The Borough Auditor shall be appointed by the
Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough Council.
The term of the Borough Auditor shall be one
year from the date of such appointment and the advice and consent
of the Borough Council.
The Borough Auditor shall perform such duties
as are assigned from time to time by the Mayor or Council.
The retainer of the Borough Auditor shall be
fixed by an annual salary by the Borough of North Arlington, additional
fees to be approved by the Council.
