Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 200 of
the Laws of 1971 (N.J.S.A.:9-1 et seq.), the office of the Tax Assessor
of the Borough of North Arlington is hereby created and established
on a part-time basis. This office shall be designated as a "Borough
Tax Assessor."
The Borough Tax Assessor shall hold office for
a term of four years from the first day of July next following appointment.
The Borough Tax Assessor shall be charged with
the duty of assessing property for taxation in the Borough of North
Arlington.

The salary of the Borough Tax Assessor shall
be fixed by the Annual Salary Ordinance of the Borough of North Arlington.
