A.
Designations. The Borough is hereby divided into nine
zones as follows:
R-1 One-Family Residence Zone

R-2 One- and Two-Family Residence Zone
|
R-3 Multiple-Family Residence Zone
|
C-1 Commercial Zone
|
C-2 Commercial Zone
|
C-3 Cemetery Zone
|
I-1 Light Industrial
|
PU Public Utility (HMDC)
|
PR Parks and Recreation (HMDC)
|

The locations and boundaries of the above districts
are hereby established on the Zoning Map of the Borough of North Arlington,
Bergen County, dated August 5, 2003, which is attached thereto and
made a part of this chapter. Said map or maps and all notations, references
and designations shown thereon shall be a part of this chapter as
if the same were all fully described and set forth herein.[1]

A.
The zone boundary lines are intended generally to
follow street center lines, existing lot lines, center lines of railroad
rights-of-way, waterways, sewer and utility easements or as otherwise
indicated on said Zoning Map.
B.
Where a zone boundary line does not coincide with
any such line as above set forth, its location or relation to any
boundary line shall be as designated on said Zoning Map by means of
figures or dimensions expressing distance in feet from a street side
line or other boundary line.
C.
In cases of uncertainty or disagreement as to the
true location of any zone boundary line, the determination thereof
shall be with the Board of Adjustment.
