Unless another penalty is expressly provided
by New Jersey Statute, every person convicted of a violation of a
provision of this chapter, or any supplement thereto, shall be liable
to a penalty of not more than $200 or imprisonment for a term not
exceeding 15 days, or both. Any fine or penalty imposed or levied
for a violation of any provision of this chapter regarding parking
may be paid to and collected by the Violations Clerk without the necessity
of a court appearance.
