From and after the effective date of this chapter, it shall be lawful to hold, operate and conduct on the first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," a specific game or games of chance commonly known as a "raffle" or "raffles" pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of the Raffles Licensing Law, N.J.S.A. 5:8-50 et seq., provided that there has been compliance with the licensing requirements in such law made and provided.

The Borough Council designates the Municipal Clerk of the Borough of Oceanport as the person having the authority to approve the granting of raffle and bingo licenses pursuant to the terms of N.J.A.C. 13:47-1.1.
The Municipal Clerk shall file a certified copy of this article with the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.
