A.
Code established. A code regulating and controlling the
location and construction, alteration and operation of swimming pools, and
the issuance of permits to locate and construct, alter or operate swimming
pools, and declaring and defining certain swimming pools as nuisances and
fixing penalties for violation is hereby adopted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1
et seq. A copy of the code is annexed to this chapter and made a part of it
without inclusion of the text.
B.
Title of code. The code established and adopted by this
chapter is described and commonly known as the "Swimming Pool Code of New
Jersey (1970)."
C.
Copies of code on file. Three copies of the Swimming
Pool Code of New Jersey (1970) have been placed on file in the offices of
the Secretary of the Board of Health and the Borough Clerk for the use and
examination of the public.
A.
Adoption by reference. The Board of Health of the Borough
of Old Tappan hereby adopts by reference the provisions of the Lake Bathing
Place Bacteriological, Sanitary and Safety Guides prepared by the New Jersey
State Department of Health, by reference, a copy of such guide being attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
B.
Public record. Three copies of such guide have been placed
and shall remain on file in the office of the Board of Health for the use
and examination of the public.
