No person shall conduct a traveling carnival,
circus or show, or any street parade in connection therewith, unless
he obtains a license from the Borough Clerk therefor.
A.
The Borough Clerk is authorized to issue a license
upon payment by the applicant of the proper fee therefor as hereinafter
provided, together with the sum of $0.50 for the cost and expense
of issuing the license.
B.
Such license shall remain in force and be valid for
only the time therein expressed. It shall apply only to the person
to whom granted and shall not be transferable.
Any person to whom a license is granted under
this chapter shall exhibit the license whenever called upon so to
do.
The fee for a license issued under this chapter
shall be $50 per day, payable in advance.
A.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter
shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding
$500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
