Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate
any provision of this chapter or fail to comply therewith, or who
shall violate or fail to comply with any order or regulation made
thereunder, shall, severally, for each and every such violation and
noncompliance, forfeit and pay a penalty not to exceed the sum of
$500 or be imprisoned in the Bergen County Jail for a period of not
more than 90 days, at the discretion of the court or jurisdictional
officer before whom a conviction may be had. The imposition of the
foregoing penalties shall not bar the right of the governing body
of the Borough of Park Ridge to revoke or suspend the license of such
offender.
