It shall be unlawful to sell or use within the limits of the Borough of Paulsboro, at any time, any blank cartridge, pistol or gun, cap pistol or gun, cartridge cannon, toy gun, pistol or cannon firing an explosive of any kind or character, firecrackers, cap bombs, torpedoes, skyrockets, roman candles, pinwheels, sparklers or any other article, apparatus or device within the general category of fireworks, and fireworks of all kinds and descriptions, without permission first had and obtained in writing for the same as hereinafter provided.

In accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:70-2.7(b), applications for a permit shall be made to the Borough Fire Official in such form and detail as the Borough Fire Official shall require. Said granted permit shall include information designating the person, firm or corporation to whom the permit is granted and the time and place when and where said permit may be used.
Any person or persons, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100 or imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed 30 days, or both, in the discretion of the Mayor or Municipal Court before whom said offendant should be convicted, and all fines collected under the provisions of this ordinance shall accrue to the Borough of Paulsboro for the use of said Borough.
