Whenever a term is used in this ordinance which is defined in P.L. 1975, c. 291,[1] such term is intended to have the meaning set forth in the definition of such term found in said statute, unless a contrary intention is clearly expressed from the context of this ordinance.

All sections of the Zoning Ordinance, Planning Board Ordinance or any other Land Use or Development Ordinance[1] readopted pursuant to P.L. 1976, c. 115, by the Borough of Paulsboro, which contain provisions contrary to the provisions of this ordinance are hereby and shall be repealed only to the extent of such inconsistency.

Pursuant to the provisions of P.L. 1975, c. 291, Section 81, if still effective, and pursuant to the provisions of P.L. 1976, c. 115, the substantive provisions of Chapters 65, 70 and 80 shall continue in full force and effect and shall be read in para materia with this ordinance.
All pending applications for development filed prior to the effective date of this ordinance shall be governed by the procedural provisions of this ordinance. Any appeals arising out of decisions made prior to the effective date of this ordinance shall not be governed by the procedural provisions of this ordinance.
This ordinance shall be known and may be cited as the "Land Use Procedures Ordinance of the Borough of Paulsboro."
Immediately upon adoption of this ordinance, the Borough Clerk shall file a copy of this ordinance with the County Planning Board as required by law. The Clerk shall also file with said County Planning Board copies of all other ordinances of the municipality relating to land use, such as the Subdivision, Zoning and Site Plan Review Ordinances, as said ordinances are adopted.[1]

This ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 1978.
