This article shall be known and may be cited as the Joint Purchasing
Agreement for the Electric Department of the Borough of Pemberton.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-10, Subsection (a)(3),
and N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15, Subsection (5), a cooperative pricing system is established
with the City of Vineland acting as the joint purchasing agent who is empowered
to advertise and receive bids as provided in such statute; to that end the
Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute such documents necessary to implement
this agreement.
The City of Vineland as the Joint Purchasing Agency in entering into
contracts on behalf of the Borough of Pemberton shall be responsible for complying
with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et
seq.) and all other provisions of the revised statutes of the State of New
Jersey.
