The purpose of this article is to authorize and establish installment
payments for connection into the Township's water distribution
system for domestic consumers.
Persons connecting to the Township water distribution system
may pay the connection fee of $2,000, application fee of $25 and main
extension costs either in full prior to connection or in installments
as provided herein.
Installment payments shall be made as follows:

by the Township within 30 days of the due date.

delinquent for nonpayment, the Pemberton Township Water Division,
with the express authorization of the Township Administrator, shall
have the right, in its discretion, to discontinue water service.
C.Â
Balance due and owing. Upon delinquency of any installment, the balance
of any water connection fee that may apply shall be immediately due
and owing.
D.Â
Creation of lien. Any unpaid balance shall be a lien on the domestic
consumer's property at such time as any installment is delinquent
for nonpayment as provided herein.
E.Â
Legal costs in connection with lien. Any legal costs incurred by
the Township in connection with placement of a lien on the domestic
consumer's property will be added to the amount of the lien.
Should the domestic consumer elect to make payment of the connection
fee in installment, as provided herein, he/she/they shall enter into
an agreement in the form attached hereto, which form of agreement
shall be and is hereby authorized by the Township Council.
