[Adopted 3-13-1978 by Ord. No. 78-3 as Ch. 76 of the 1977 Code]
Pursuant to the provisions of the Sewerage Authorities Law (P.L. 1946, c. 138; N.J.S.A. 40:14A-1 et seq.) of the State of New Jersey, there is hereby created a public body corporate and politic under the name and style of the "Pennsauken Sewerage Authority."
The Pennsauken Sewerage Authority hereby created is a sewerage authority as contemplated and provided for by said Sewerage Authorities Law and shall have and exercise all of the powers and perform all of the duties provided by said Sewerage Authorities Law and any other statutes heretofore or hereafter enacted and applicable thereto.[1]

A copy of this article, duly certified by the Township Clerk of the Township of Pennsauken, shall forthwith be filed by said Township Clerk in the office of the Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey.

Compensation for the Sewerage Authority shall be in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:14A-5(d).
