A. 
Whenever any words and phrases are used in Part 1 of this chapter, the meanings respectively ascribed to them in Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases used herein.
B. 
For the purpose of establishing a reasonable degree of consistency within this chapter, the following streets are hereby designated as running north-south or east-west, as indicated, although such streets may not actually run north-south or east-west in terms of true compass directions. All streets intersecting any of the streets so designated shall be deemed to run generally in a direction at right angles to that indicated.[1]
(1) 
North-south streets: Maple Avenue, Drexel Avenue, Terrace Avenue, 36th Street, 49th Street, Merchantville Avenue, Cove Road, Union Avenue, Hilton Road, Haddonfield Road and Marlton Pike.
(2) 
East-west streets: River Road, High Street, Westfield Avenue, Camden Avenue, U.S. Route No. 130, Chestnut Avenue and N.J. Route Nos. 38/70.

A. 
No person shall obstruct, interfere with or impede, directly or indirectly, vehicular traffic upon the streets of the Township of Pennsauken.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to reserve or attempt to reserve a parking space or prevent any vehicle from parking on a public street through his/her presence in the parking area, use of hand signals, or by placing any box, can, crate, handcart, chair, cone or trash can or any object, including street markings or signs in the roadway not legally placed by the Township.

A. 
Repeal. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with or inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed, except that this repeal shall not affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for any act done or committed in violation of any ordinance hereby repealed prior to the taking effect of this chapter.
B. 
Violations and penalties. Any person who violates any provision of this Part 1 shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both.
