[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Pilesgrove 11-12-1985. Amendments noted where applicable.]
This chapter shall be known as the "Interlocal Services Ordinance for Sanitary Landfill Services."
The Township of Carneys Point, Borough of Elmer, Township of Pittsgrove, Township of Pilesgrove and Borough of Woodstown, Salem County, New Jersey, may all be involved as part of this chapter. The Borough of Woodstown and Pilesgrove Township are the present owners and operators of a sanitary landfill, and these townships desire to enter into interlocal services agreements with the other municipalities designated. It is the intent of this chapter to authorize such agreements in the event that said municipalities desire to enter into a mutually agreeable arrangement.
The agreement to be entered into with each of these municipalities shall be entitled "Interlocal Landfill Agreement," and the terms of said agreement may be reviewed by any person in the Pilesgrove Township Hall during normal business hours. The actual agreement to be entered with each respective municipality shall be authorized by resolution and executed in final form and filed with the Township Clerk and made available for public inspection during normal business hours.
