A. 
Through streets. The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VI (§ 400-32), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as through streets. Stop signs shall be installed on the near right side of each street intersecting the through street, except where yield signs are provided for in the designations.
B. 
Stop intersections. The intersections described in Schedule VII (§ 400-33), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as stop intersections. Stop signs shall be installed as provided therein.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VIII (§ 400-34), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as one-way streets in the direction indicated.
A. 
U-turns. No person shall make a U-turn on any of the following streets:

C. 
Turns and right turns. No person shall turn a vehicle or make a right turn when facing a red signal (stop) indicating at any of the following locations whenever an official sign is present prohibiting such a turn on the red signal:

(1) 
Intersection of Fifth Avenue at Continental Avenue.
(a) 
Prohibited at all times for northbound traffic on Fifth Avenue.
(b) 
Prohibited to southbound traffic on Fifth Avenue, and east and west bound traffic on Continental Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
(2) 
Intersection of Fifth Avenue and Midland Avenue; prohibited between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
(a) 
From westbound on Midland Avenue to northbound on Fifth Avenue.
(b) 
From eastbound on Midland Avenue to southbound on Fifth Avenue.

D. 
Turn lanes. Vehicle movement shall be limited as specified on the following described streets or parts of streets:

Hackensack Avenue and Grand Avenue. Eastbound traffic on Grand Avenue shall be limited to right turns only at Hackensack Avenue.
(2) 
Hackensack Avenue and Main Street. The left lane of the west approach of Main Street shall be for left turns only.
(3) 
Hackensack Avenue and jughandle. The right hand lane of the south approach of Hackensack Avenue shall be used for right turns only.
(4) 
Kinderkamack Road and Continental Avenue. The left lane of the westerly approach of Continental Avenue on Kinderkamack Road shall be for left turns only.
(5) 
Kinderkamack Road and Grand Avenue. The left lane of the south approach of Kinderkamack Road shall be for left turns only.
(6) 
Kinderkamack Road and Mill Brook Village Driveway. The left lane of the easterly approach of the Mill Brook Village driveway on Kinderkamack Road shall be for left turns only.
(7) 
Midland Avenue and Fifth Avenue. The left lane on the easterly approach of Midland Avenue at Fifth Avenue will be reserved for left turns only.

Lincoln Avenue and Park Avenue. Eastbound traffic on Lincoln Avenue may not turn left at Park Avenue.

Trucks over four tons gross weight are excluded from the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule IX (§ 400-35), attached to and made a part of this chapter. This section shall not apply to trucks picking up or delivering materials on the described streets or parts of streets.
The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule X (§ 400-36), attached to and made a part of this chapter shall have the speed limits as set forth therein. Regulatory and warning signs shall be erected and maintained as required by the Director of Motor Vehicles.
In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:1 et seq., traffic control signals shall be installed and operated at the following designated locations:

Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-197, the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XI (§ 400-37), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are designated and maintained as no-passing zones as authorized by the Commissioner of Transportation.

Unless another penalty is expressly provided by New Jersey statute, any person convicted of a violation of this chapter, or any supplement thereto, shall be liable to a penalty of not more than $300 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both.

The streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII, Location of Crosswalks, and Schedule XIV, Location of Crosswalks with In-Street Pedestrian Signs, attached to and made of part of this chapter, shall have the crosswalks as set forth therein. The Borough will have proper pavement markings consistent with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices and the provisions of this chapter placed upon said streets. The installation of in-street pedestrian crossing right-of-way signs shall be subject to the guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Transportation after consultation with the Director of the Office of Highway Traffic Safety in the Department of Law and Public Safety.
