Any unoccupied vehicle parked in violation of
this article shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and
proper regulation of traffic, and any peace officer may provide for
the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable cost
of the removal and storage which may result from the removal before
regaining possession of the vehicle.

Any person or persons, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof,
be fined a sum of $45 for each offense and, in default of payment
thereof, be imprisoned in the county jail for a term not exceeding
five days, or both.
This article shall take effect immediately upon
publication according to law.
