The State of New Jersey requires in Raffles Licensing Law N.J.S.A. 5:8-58
the governing body of the municipality issuing a license for the holding,
operating, and conducting games of chance on Sunday to pass an ordinance authorizing
such games of chance to be held on said day.
The Township Committee of the Township of Shamong, in the County of
Burlington, and State of New Jersey does hereby authorize the holding, operating,
and conducting of games of chance on Sunday in accordance with New Jersey
Statute N.J.S.A. 5:8-58.
