A. 
In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 26:3-69.1 through 26:3-69.6, the Maintenance of Swine Code of New Jersey/1957 is hereby adopted as the standards governing and establishing the minimum acceptable standards for the maintenance of swine in order to protect the public health and general welfare.
B. 
Additions, changes and deletions.

(1) 
Section 4 is supplemented by adding the following: No person shall maintain more than 10 adult swine, as defined in said code, on premises within the boundaries of this municipality until a valid permit therefor shall have been issued by the Board of Health, excepting that persons now maintaining swine, as defined by said code, shall not be obliged to obtain a permit for one year from the effective date of said code. No person may maintain more than 100 swine.
(2) 
Section 6 is supplemented by adding the following: The fee for a permit to maintain swine on a premises shall be $15.
(3) 
Section 7 is supplemented by adding the following: Permits issued for the maintenance of swine on premises shall expire annually on January 1 of each year, and application for renewal thereof shall be submitted together with the required fee prior to January 31 of each year.
Three copies of the Maintenance of Swine Code of New Jersey/1975 have been placed on file in the Board of Health office for use and examination by the public.
The administrative and enforcing authority for the provisions of this article shall be the Health Officer.
