Borough of Woodcliff Lake, NJ Article XIV Department of Parks and Recreation

§ 5-47 Department created; Director and Assistant Director.

There shall be a Department of Parks and Recreation in the Borough of Woodcliff Lake, the head of which shall be the Director of Parks and Recreation. There shall also be appointed an Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, who shall be appointed by the governing body along with the Director and who shall assume duties as assigned by the Mayor and Council and under the direction of the Director.

§ 5-48 Powers and duties.

Under the supervision and direction of the Administrator, the Department of Parks and Recreation shall be charged with the management, maintenance, regulation and control of public parks and playgrounds in the Borough of Woodcliff Lake and with the direction of all public recreation carried on within said parks and playgrounds.

§ 5-49 Advisory committee.

The Mayor and Council may appoint a citizens committee to advise the Department of Parks and Recreation on matters concerning the public recreation to be carried on within said parks and playgrounds.
