[Adopted at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions,
Art. I)]
Any individual person or corporation seeking to transfer a liquor license
from another municipality into the Borough of Moosic shall complete an application
with the Borough of Moosic setting forth:
Upon receipt of an application for the transfer of the liquor license
from another municipality to the Borough of Moosic, the Borough Council shall
schedule a public hearing. At said public hearing, input shall be taken by
the owner of the license to be transferred and any other interested citizen.
Upon the completion of the public hearing the Borough Council shall
make a determination as to whether said transfer is in the best interest of
the Borough of Moosic.
The applicant seeking the transfer shall pay to the Borough a fee of
$500 which shall be used to reimburse the Borough for any advertising costs
or any other costs associated with making a determination as to said transfer.
