A.
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway
within this Village during a snowstorm, flood, fire or other public
emergency which affects that portion of the public highway upon which
said vehicle is parked or abandoned, said vehicle may be removed by
the authority of the Director of Public Works.
B.
When any vehicle is found unattended on any highway
within this Village where said vehicle constitutes an obstruction
to traffic, said vehicle may be removed by authority of the Director
of Public Works.
C.
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway
within this Village where stopping, standing or parking is prohibited,
said vehicle may be removed by authority of the Director of Public
Works.

After removal of any vehicle as provided in this article, the Director of Public Works may store such vehicle in a suitable place at the expense of the owner. Such owner, or person in charge of the vehicle, may redeem the same upon payment to the Village Clerk-Treasurer of the amount of all expenses actually and necessarily incurred in effecting such removal, such removal charges shall be as set forth in Chapter A232, Fees, together with any charges for storage, such storage charges shall be as set forth in Chapter A232, Fees.
The Director of Public Works shall without delay
report the removal and the disposition of any vehicle removed as provided
in this article to the Village Clerk-Treasurer, and it shall be the
duty of the Village Clerk-Treasurer to ascertain to the extent possible
the owner of the vehicle, or person having charge of same, and to
notify him of the removal and disposition of such vehicle and of the
amount which will be required to redeem same.
A.
A truck route system, upon which all trucks, tractors
and tractor-trailer combinations having a total gross weight in excess
of six tons are permitted to travel and operate, shall consist of
the following highways:

All trucks, tractors and tractor-trailer combinations
having a total gross weight in excess of six tons are hereby excluded
from all highways within this Village, except from those highways
listed in Subdivision A, except that this exclusion shall not be construed
to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property
along the highway from which such vehicles and combinations are excluded.

Traffic is hereby prohibited from travelling
northbound up the ramp leading from the lower (southerly) to the upper
(northerly) parking lot under the Water Tower, and the Village shall
erect and maintain signs appropriate to controlling traffic in this
manner.

During the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. right-on-red
turns are prohibited on all four corners of the intersections of North
and South Buffalo Street and East and West Quaker Street.

Portable crosswalk monuments may be placed:
A.
During
school hours in the crosswalk on South Lincoln Street in front of
the Orchard Park Central School Middle School.
B.
During
school hours in the crosswalk on School Street at South Lincoln Street
in front of the Orchard Park Central School Middle School.
C.
During
school hours on South Davis Street in front of the South Davis Elementary
School.
D.
During
daylight hours in the crosswalk on Thorn Avenue at the intersection
of Bank Street.
