[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Lower

Each subscriber to the Township burglar alarm system shall be assessed
a penalty of $10 for each false alarm in excess of two in any calendar month
originating at the site of that subscriber's burglar alarm equipment.
Any subscriber violating the provisions of § 148-1 of this chapter shall be promptly notified and billed for each such false alarm, and payment for same must be received by the Township Clerk within 15 days of the billing date. The failure of any such subscriber to pay the penalty within the aforesaid fifteen-day period shall result in a disconnection of the Township burglar alarm service to that subscriber. Notice of a discontinuance of the Township burglar alarm system shall be mailed to a defaulting subscriber by certified mail to the address where the subscriber's burglar alarm system is located.
