The Chairman and Secretary of the Montgomery Township Board of Supervisors are hereby authorized to enter into an intermunicipal agreement with Lower Gwynedd Township for the joint hiring of a Recreation Director in the form of agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.[1]

Once the intermunicipal agreement has been executed by both townships, it shall thereafter be amended only by a written document also executed by both townships. Amendments to the intermunicipal agreement, including termination of that agreement, shall not require the passage of another ordinance, but shall rather be authorized and confirmed by formal resolution of this Board adopted at a public meeting.
Nothing in this article shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding now pending in any court, or any rights acquired or liabilities incurred, or any permit issued, or any cause or causes of action existing under the ordinances of the Township prior to the enactment of this article.
