This chapter shall be known as and may be cited as the "Mount Joy Township
Waste Storage, Collection, Processing and Disposal Ordinance."
The intent of this chapter is to:
A.
Promote and protect public health, property values and
aesthetics within the township.
B.
Regulate the storage, collection, processing and disposal
of solid waste and other refuse materials on land within the township.
C.
Protect and promote the quality of life for all of the
inhabitants of the township, further providing for the aesthetic and environmental
well-being of said township.
