The Township elects to become a member of the Northwestern Lancaster County Council of Governments.
The conditions of the agreement, the manner and extent of financing the agreement, the duration of the term of the agreement and the organizational structure necessary to implement the agreement are as specified within the Agreement for the Formation of the Northwestern Lancaster County Council of Governments (the "agreement") which was presented before the Board of Supervisors of the township at a public meeting on April 9, 1981, and which is set forth in Appendix A to this chapter and incorporated herein.[1]

The Agreement for the Formation of the Northwestern Lancaster County Council of Governments is hereby approved.
A copy of the agreement, in the form attached to this chapter and so approved, shall be filed with the Secretary of this township and shall be made available for inspection at reasonable times for interested persons requesting such inspection.
The Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and the Secretary or the Assistant Secretary of this township, as applicable, are authorized and directed to execute, to attest and to deliver the agreement on behalf of this township in the form so approved.
The appropriate officers of this township are authorized and directed to execute all documents and to do all other acts that may be necessary and proper to carry out this chapter, to become a member of the Northwestern Lancaster County Council of Governments and to accomplish the undertakings of this township as set forth in the agreement.
There is hereby appropriated from the funds of the township an amount sufficient to pay the annual dues as determined for this township under the terms of the agreement.
