As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
Alleys that are known as "borough alleys" which have either been
deeded to the borough or have been taken over by the borough in a legal manner
as a part of the highway system of the Borough of Norristown's Pubic Works
Department as public alleys. Definition by way of exclusion would be all alleys
in the Borough of Norristown which are not privately held properties.
Filling of potholes, sealing, repaving or resurfacing, or reconstruction.
The Borough of Norristown shall be responsible for the maintenance of
all alleys, as defined herein, within the Borough of Norristown.
