The form of the agreement as presented to this
meeting, a true and correct copy of which is hereby directed to be
filed by the Secretary of the township among the township records,
to be entered into by and among Forks Township and Forks Authority
on the one hand and Palmer Township and Palmer Authority on the other
hand, providing, inter alia, for the connection to the Bushkill interceptor
of the proposed sewage collection facilities to be constructed in
Palmer Township for the purpose of delivering into the Bushkill interceptor
sewage and wastes from such collection facilities for transportation
to the City of Easton treatment plant for treatment and ultimate disposal,
and providing for the payment of certain charges therefor by Palmer
Township, is hereby approved, and the Chairman or the Vice-Chairman
of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized to execute, acknowledge
and deliver, and the Township Secretary or Assistant Secretary is
hereby authorized to affix the corporate seal of the township and
to attest on behalf of the township an agreement in any number of
counterparts, each of which shall be an original, substantially in
the form as presented to this meeting, with such changes therein as
may be recommended by counsel and approved by such officers executing
and attesting the same upon or prior to such execution and attestation.
The proper officers of the township are hereby
authorized and empowered on behalf of the township to execute any
and all papers and documents and to do and cause to be done any and
all acts and things necessary or proper for the execution or carrying
out of this ordinance and the provisions of the agreement.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances, insofar
as they are inconsistent herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
